Effective September 23, 2024, the Grande Prairie Enforcement Services (GPES) front counter, currently located at Cedar Point, will be relocated to the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment.
As a result of this merger, in-person GPES front counter services like Vehicle for Hire and animal licensing previously available at Cedar Point will no longer be offered at that location. Residents and visitors requiring access to Enforcement Services programs and assistance are now directed to the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment, located at 10202 99 Street.
The merging of in-person services will also result in the extension of GPES front counter hours by 30 minutes as the front counter at the RCMP detachment operates Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Enforcement Services front counter staff will also be making the move, adding two staff members.
Access to online and phone services remains unaffected by this change.
